Bendigo vs Beauce – From Historic Discoveries to Today's Opportunity

Two gold districts with astonishing parallels — from early discoveries to world-class Saddle Reef systems. Bendigo, Australia produced more than 22 million ounces of gold from geological settings similar to those now being explored in Québec's Beauce region.

What is a Saddle Reef?

Saddle Reefs are quartz structures formed in the anticlinal folds of bedrock. These reefs can host high-grade gold mineralization within stockwork quartz veins and silica alteration.

Bendigo's Saddle Reef systems are associated with one of Australia's most important historic gold districts. Beauce's Saddle Reef potential is now being tested through modern exploration and drilling.

Bendigo's Saddle Reefs produced more than 22 million ounces of gold.

Beauce's Saddle Reef potential is just beginning to be tested.
